You are the bravest person I will ever have known. Sleep tight my love. I love you.
Spinal Research is sad to hear of the passing of Susan Fisher who died recently. Susan was injured in a road accident aged just 22 years old and spent her life raising funds and awareness of spinal injuries, alongside her mother Rita. As well as this Susan was a former treasurer for Spinal Research Trust. Thank you Susan for a lifetime of dedication to spinal injuries.
Spinal Research were saddened to hear about the passing of Professor John Priestley who died recently after a long illness. John made a vital contribution to the field of neuroscience throughout distinguished career. He also played a crucial role within Spinal Research, as Chair of our Scientific Advisory Committee (2001) and as Chairman of the charity for three years until 2010. During his chairmanship, he helped to shape and restructure the charity’s medium- and long-term research strategy. It is testament to his principles and vision that some of John's ideas can still be seen in our work today.
